Modi Ji had a vision for Bharat to become self-reliant in manufacturing & defense & started making in India Mission & Aatma Nirbhay Bharat Mission. To achieve this vision, loans for starting businesses are made cheaper & subsidies are being provided to establish manufacturing plants. registering of startups & companies are made simple & single window and creating the environment for ease of doing business. His govt is promoting Vocal for Local. Special packages for defense startups & critical technologies are being provided.

Modiji had the vision of Employment & Jobs for Youth and he has given a new concept that Job Can Be achieved By creating Jobs for others and encouraging youth to start their own ventures & startups & he started Startup India Mission & Standup India Mission (For ST & SC Entrepreneurs & Women) to be inclusive to all part of society by Cast & gender & started Skill India Mission for making youth job ready & making them employable & creating skilled humans available for various technology & manufacturing for putting the country on the fast growth track.

Modiji had the vision of Spiritual Bharat and preserve and promotes Indian Spiritual Monuments/Structures and created Jobs while doing so. His govt has made the Kashi Corridor in Banaras /Varanasi, Mahakala Corridor in Ujjain.

Modiji had a vision for a corruption-free Bharat, connected Bharat &vision of transparent & Good governance & transparent execution of govt scheme. to realize it, Modi ji Started Digital India Mission for connecting citizens & making various schemes & information available online. His govt. implemented E-Governance through MyGov App & Web Portal. started implementing Jana Dhan Bank Account for the financial inclusion of every citizen, especially in Rural Bharat & implemented DBT (Direct Bank Transfer) scheme. He has launched the UPI payment gateway & making the Indian rupee acceptable to more countries for making the Indian rupee strong in the international market.

Modi had a vision for connecting India digitally & physically. He has launched Digital India Mission & Mission, Gati Shakti to achieve this. Mission Gati Shakti is being implemented for Road, Train, River & Air Transport. His vision execution is being realized through Vande Bharat Express, Tejas Express, UDAAN Scheme, water Metro,5G Role out, etc.

Hence it is clear leadership first imagining a vision for transformation then start a mission and mass movement & implements it by bringing required new policy, law, or constitutional amendment and allocating resources, and building a strong task force & team to monitor the progress & keep on doing this unless the goal is achieved. I also call this style of leadership Self Sustained Leadership.

Events That Led to Narendra Modi Becoming A Leader

Narendra Damodar Das Modi is an Indian politician who was born on 17th September 1950. He was the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. Modi was elected Prime Minister of India in May 2014.

Narendra Modi was involved in Indian politics from a very early age. However, things could have started out smoother when he was young. When he was just a young boy, he helped his father sell tea at the railway station and then later ran his own tea stall. When Modi was eight years old, he was introduced to the Rashtriya (RSS) also known as the “National Patriotic Organisation” and began attending its local shakhas (training sessions). He met Lakshmana Rao Inamdar there, who inducted Modi as a balswayamsevak (junior cadet) in the RSS and became his political mentor. While Modi was training with the RSS, he also met Vasant Gajendra Gadkar and Nathalal Jaghda, Bharatiya Jana Sangh leaders who in 1980 helped in founding the BJP’s Gujarat unit.

It was then Modi started to learn about politics and leadership. After completing his graduation, he worked full-time for RSS and was then introduced to the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), where he built his leadership qualities and became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for over a decade. Due to his hard work, Modi eventually won the national elections and became the 16th Prime Minister of India. · He became the General Secretary of the BJP’s Gujarat unit in 1988.

· He was recognized as a key strategist for being instrumental in successfully campaigning for the party in the 1995 and 1998 Gujarat Assembly Elections, which made the BJP the ruling party in Gujarat.

· Modiji successfully organized two challenging events on the national level: the Somnath to Ayodhya Rath Yatra, which was a long march by L. K. Advani, and a march from Kanyakumari (southern tip of India) to Kashmir (the northern tip) undertaken by Murli Manohar Joshi. These two events are considered to have contributed in bringing the BJP to power in 1998.

· In 1995, Narendra Modi was appointed as the Secretary of the BJP’s national unit.

· Narendra Modi was credited for having successfully carried out the responsibility of revamping the party organization in different states.

· In 1998, Narendra Modi was promoted as General Secretary and held the position till October 2001.

· Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat for the first time in October 2001 when his predecessor Keshu Bhai Patel resigned from the post following the defeat of BJP in by-elections.

· After winning the Gujarat Assembly elections three consecutive times and holding the position of the state’s chief minister, Modi contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections for the first time. He won the elections by a grand margin and became the Prime Minister of India following the win.

He tells himself as Pradhan Sevak rather than Prime Minister. He worships the workers & Safai Karmiks by washing their feet. Even when a small girl writes a letter to him, he & his team respond.

Modiji has developed strong communication skills since his childhood. he used to participate in debates & various group discussions in school. He is a good public speaker who can handle the mass public confidently. He makes better connections with people by selecting the local language & Lehman’s examples to make his point clear and convince people of his vision.
